For over 60 years The Floral Design Council of South Australia has been recognised years as the state body for Floral Art. The FDCSA was a Foundation Member of the Australian Floral Art Association and furthermore a member of the World Association of Floral Art (WAFA).

As a state a Not-for-Profit organization we seek to teach how to arrange flowers through workshops and demonstrations and by training who wish to judge, to raise the standards of Floral Art and the Judging of Floral Art in Shows and competitions. 

We have many friendly groups throughout the state, who teach and learn the Principles and Elements of Design and techniques involved in current trends in Floral Arrangement. We support the Floral Art sections of Horticultural Shows both in the city and country S.A., providing high quality Judges. 
Along with other states who are members of the AFAA, we take our turn in holding an annual Convention where exhibitors and demonstrators from Australia and overseas compete and learn from guest demonstrators, the current and new trends around the world.
